Boats of Miami

As we were cruising around Miami, the guys on board were going crazy for the boats we passed. I snapped a few pics because I figured it was something Husband would be into. I was right. He went crazy, especially over the navy yacht (and its helicopter).

I hadn’t planned to put up a boat post, or I would have kept snapping away at the many, many boats we passed. Hubs insisted I put this up. “People love boats, D! You have to show em the boats!” LOL.

The highlight of the sights for me, wasn’t so much a boat, but the abandoned Marine Stadium (1963), the first stadium built for powerboat racing in the US. It was declared unsafe in 1992 after a massive hurricane. It’s now covered in (beautiful) graffiti. Oh, and I added a picture of us celebrating the birthday boy, Sheldon, on his 40th… on a boat.
