This was my first Art Basel Miami. It's been on my bucket list for years, but something always "comes up". I almost missed it this year too. A friend was supposed to go with, but there was a conflict with a certification she's working on. So I was gonna stay home, but then thought of how awful I would feel watching the fun on Instagram... again. So on Tuesday, I bought a ticket to Miami for Thursday and booked an Airbnb (with no Wi-Fi, sigh) in South Beach. LOL.

I was (way too) ambitious on my first day. Fresh off a 6:45AM flight (and after I did the Design Miami show) I I did the official Art Basel showcase at the Miami Convention Center in ONE DAY. I walked around the tent for four hours. And I loved every second of it!
